The evaluation tests how the joint moves and where restriction or instability exists, and whether the pain correlates with a local problem or a compensation from the spine. Dr. Bronstein also assesses spinal alignment and surrounding joint mechanics to determine whether the painful joint is the source or the victim.
Patients leave the evaluation with a diagnosis and a recommendation. Beacon Clinic of Chiropractic does not begin treatment for joint pain without first confirming that the problem is one that chiropractic care can meaningfully address.
