This week my friend Dr Nikki Cottis and I talk about community-oriented chiropractic and what it means for whole families to be cared for together. If you find yourself in Gulf Shores, Alabama, please find Dr Nikki at the Chiropractic Connection.
Biography: Dr. Nikki is a Webster certified chiropractor practicing on the gulf coast, in Gulf Shores, Alabama. She is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University at University park, with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Marietta, Ga. She has traveled to the Sichuan province of China to practice chiropractic. It was in China where her love of pediatric adjusting really blossomed. She adjusted thousands of people from days old and beyond during her time there. Dr. Nikki’s first exposure to chiropractic was through her mother, who has been an avid chiropractic patient her whole life. A sporting injury, and a battle with teenage migraines brought her down the path of chiropractic. If only someone had told her mom sooner the benefits of chiropractic for children, she feels as though she would have skipped through pain-filled teenage years. That is why Dr. Nikki focuses on children and families in her practice, to change children’s lives through the power of chiropractic!
